Capability

What are you capable of?
Now go through a life-changing, tragic event, and ask yourself that same question. Could you lie, steal, cheat? Betray someone you love, hide secrets from the one person you are supposed to share everything with? Could you take justice into your own hands? Could you kill?
Melany Polk had to ask herself these same questions.
She had built the perfect life with her husband, Richard. Together they are raising two teenagers in the suburbs of Plano, Texas. While Richard’s work calls for him to be away from home a lot, Melany is allowed the privilege of being a stay-at-home mom. She spends her days catering to her children, taking strolls with the family dog, and gossiping with her elderly pothead neighbor.
At the age of 43, she is in the best shape of her life. After taking up running as a hobby, she has a routine of fitting in a run around her neighborhood every night before bed. She considers herself a good, positive person. The people in her life would say the same. She could never answer yes to any of the questions above, or at least the old Melany couldn’t.
On the evening of March 4th, a single act of brutal violence almost ends Melany's life during her nightly run.
She now suffers through a grueling recovery. Melany struggles to find herself but is failing miserably. Every time she starts to feel like herself again, something is thrown in her path to remind her that he’s still out there. Lost and spiraling out of control, she has begun to withdraw from life. The disfigured face and body she now carries are starting to create a personality of its own. She wonders if she will ever be able to move on. The monster that did this to her remains a mystery; she fears he may come back so he can finish her off.
Melany may seem like a timid housewife to some. The monster changed something inside her. She is no longer the innocent woman from before. After so much has been taken from her, she decides it’s time to take some of it back. With a taste for revenge, darkness takes over her. It has her doing things she thought she’d never be capable of.

Girl Bully

Oh, the things we will do for our children.
Pamela Bowman is a confident, strong, eye-catching woman, but she hasn't always been as secure in her skin as she is now. Growing up, she was neglected and unwanted by her family. After ending up a ward of the state and getting passed around from one foster home to another, Pam realized she had to fend for herself. No one was looking out for her but her.
Once Pam was old enough, she decided to take control of her destiny; her life was going to be what she made out of it. After graduating from law school and finding the perfect husband, she felt that she had succeeded in this endeavor. The ideal life lay before her; everyone around her was eating out of the palm of her hand.
Pamela along with her husband Howard, and their daughter Lucille have to relocate from their cushy home in Alabama to the harsh street of Chicago. Once there, Pam realized she was losing herself and needed to justify this immediately. She was no longer everyone's primary focus, and the lack of attention was seeping into her psyche.
It wasn't until Pam's daughter, Lucille, reached eleven years old, the same age that Pam had been when her life was flipped upside down that she started to gain some motherly instincts. Pam had never felt the maternal force, the bond between mother and child that everyone talked about. However, once a threat showed its ugly face around Lucille, Pam became overwhelmed by a need to keep it away.
Little did she know that the more she tried to take control, the more she lost it.
If you always have high expectations in life, you will almost always be disappointed. Be careful who you think are weak links; they may end up destroying you in the end.

Girl Vengeance

Five years ago, Lucille Bowman’s mother, Pamela, was ripped out of her life with little warning. Pamela was not a victim, more like she suffered the consequences of her own actions. However, the sentence she got did not fit her actual crimes.
Everyone around Lucy got to make decisions regarding her life except for Lucy. At only twelve years old, she didn’t have much choice then. Well, things have changed.
Little Lucy isn’t so little anymore. Freshly graduated from high school, Lucy is now eighteen and capable of making her own life decisions. She has her entire future mapped out, and it doesn’t include anything that was forced upon her by her parents.
Before Lucy can move on and start her adult journey, she has some unclaimed debts to collect. Someone took something from her, something that can’t be replaced. It is time for revenge, and Lucy has a detailed plan on how this will go down.
Putting her own life on hold for a year, Lucy leaves her home in Alabama to attend a college she has no desire to graduate from. There is only one reason for her education choice, and it has nothing to do with educating herself and everything to do with educating someone else.
Off to Harvard, Lucy goes to seek out and befriend an old classmate. Someone who thought they got off easy for the sins they committed, someone who has no clue what hell is about to be brought down onto them.
Is everything going to line up perfectly, or will it all fall apart like it did for her mother?
This novella is a follow-up to the full-length novel, Girl Bully.

This Family Sucks! Sincerely Yours, Peter Frazier

Have you ever thought that maybe you didn’t belong? Have you ever looked around at your family members and thought, there is no way I am related to these people?
Both Peter Frazier and Trent Lockley thought this about the families they were born into.
Two boys, the same age, miles apart. They are both from small Texas towns, born in the same hospital, on the same day. However, their lives turned out to be nothing alike.
The Frazier family is a large, lively bunch. The fact that they are close-knit and share every detail of their lives with each other always seemed a little strange to Peter. Although he loves every one of his six siblings and his overly affectionate parents, he couldn’t help but feel out of place around them.
Trent Lockley is an only child born to abusive parents and spent most of his life posing as a punching bag for the town drunks. As he grew into a young man, his anger grew with him. Trent got in a lot of trouble as an adolescent. He would start fights at school frequently, and once he grew up and got even bigger than his drug addict father, he started fights at home.
It is the summer of 1996; the Frazier family are preparing for Peter’s High School graduation, and Peter is a little nervous because he has yet to make any plans for his future. He always figured that once he turned eighteen, he would hit the road and never look back, but now that the day is here, he isn’t so sure. The idea of leaving his family, mainly his baby sister Tallulah behind now scares him.
Right before the two strangers turn eighteen, they cross paths. Trent has somehow managed to wiggle his way into the Frazier’s life, and Peter becomes suspicious of this newcomer and starts to question everything about him. The rest of the Frazier family seem to be blinded by Trent’s charm and simply adore him.
A dark cloud is hovering over the once perfect household. At every turn, the Frazier family get nothing but devastating news. Peter is not sure what this Trent character is capable of, but since his arrival, everything has gone wrong, so he must have something to do with it. Peter starts to piece the puzzle together but is it too late? Once the truth is discovered, Peter starts to realize that his family doesn’t actually suck as much as he initially thought.

Make it stand out.

The Frazier family has been through a lot of turmoil over the last few years. After Tallulah and Peter suffered the invasion of Trent Lockley, it took some time and therapy for the crazy bunch to get back on track. They are not what they once were, but many people might say they are even stronger now.

Vladimir has always been the oddball among the Frazier kids. With his love for reptiles, gothic appearance, and devil may care attitude; he can be easily separated from the rest of the Frazier bunch. At twenty-two, he is standing on solid ground and trying to create a life of his own. However, it does get lonely sometimes.

He is young but knows his days of partying and sleeping around cannot last forever. Growing up in a small town and deciding to stay there does not leave him with many options. He still hangs out with the same friends he always has and is slowly running out of options when it comes to the female population of Tyler, Texas.

That is until Carrisa Abbott walks into the pet store where Vladimir works. Of course, she is accompanied by her controlling, hotheaded boyfriend Jalal, so Vladimir eases back, not wanting to step on anyone's toes. He is still a Gentleman.
Little did Vladimir know, that would not be the last time he saw Carrisa; it turns out she needed help, and Vladimir was all too willing to swoop in and save the day.

His good intentions find a way of backfiring on him. No good deed goes unpunished. Vladimir has started a war with his act of not-so-random-kindness. Now he needs to suit up and get ready for the battle. Good thing he has the Frazier boys to back him up.

The conclusion to Capturing Cadence is finally here.

Cadence and Salvatore have had a full year together; they have spent every day of it falling deeper and deeper in love. Salvatore lived for half a decade running from his past, hiding from those that mean him harm. Cadence never had much to live for, not until she found Salvatore. She dropped everything and went on the run with him.

Reality is now knocking at their door, and they are forced to return to a place they want so badly to forget. For so long, it was just the two of them. That's all they ever wanted. All they ever needed.

Unresolved business stares them in the face and threatens to break up their happily ever after. Will it still be Cadence and Salvatore against the world when it feels like the entire world has ganged up against them?

Charity Fellner thought she had found the man of her dreams. After getting away from a would-be assailant her freshman year of college, she thought no one would be able to break down the mile-high walls she had built around herself.
Still stuck in a shell, Charity returns to campus to test the water by taking a single summer course. It was there that she found him. Professor Cameron St. James was unlike any man she had ever met before. He was forward yet gentle, kind yet demanding. He knew what Charity needed and would give it to her even if she tried to fight it. Charity, however, didn't put up much of a fight; there wasn't any denying Cameron's charm. The fact that he was temporary made him even more appealing. Cameron only taught one summer class at the University of Southern California. Once summer came to an end, he would head back to Maine, where he lived full time and Charity could forget all about him.
That's not how it happened. Cameron did head back to Maine, but Charity joined him. This wasn't the life she envisioned for herself. She was going to be someone. A high-powered woman who wouldn't have to depend on anyone, that was the dream anyway. Dreams change, and Charity was in love; she would welcome her new life with open arms.
Knowing no one and having never visited Maine, Charity settled into the enormous estate Cameron called home. It had been in his family for generations, built by his great grandfather. There was no denying its beauty, but there was also something sad about the vast unused land. Hundreds of acres now surround her, the nearest neighbor miles away. Charity was never a social butterfly but being out here all alone felt wrong—almost heartbreaking. Charity tried to put all of her insecurities behind her and fully focused on her new family's every need.
Without even realizing it, years fly by, and Charity has become some sort of recluse. Sure, she got out on occasion. She would visit her mother in California during the summer while Cameron worked. She hosted the occasional dinner party, but the guest were all Cameron's friends and acquaintances. Charity never took the time to make a life and friends of her own. Charity makes herself a promise that she will try harder. Try to fit in, try to make friends, try to be a part of the community that she has refused to accept for far too long.
The promise that Charity made to herself was shattered before it could see the light of day. Trying to surprise her husband upon returning from his summer away, she got a surprise of her own. Friends had gathered for an evening of cocktails and chatter at the St. James home. Late into the night, after most had left, Charity slept when something woke her suddenly. When she investigated the sound, what she found sent her world to a crashing halt.
She felt eyes on her at every turn; silent voices whispered secrets in her ear that she did not want to believe. Secrets crawled out of invisible graves, making themselves known and unavoidable. Confusion settled like dust all around her. Will she be able to clean up the destruction, or will the enigmas within the walls win?

A serial killer psychological thriller full of crime and deception.

The town of Rangeley, Maine is in an uproar; fingers are pointing in every direction.
A pattern has started, and the local police department is finally paying attention and placing every piece they can find together. We know what went down with the St. James family in Within These Walls, but the citizens of this small town remain clueless. The paranoia has risen, and everyone is on high alert.
A sinister tradition that has been passed down through generations for over a hundred years has finally reached its match with Detective Gonzalez lurking around and not discounting anyone as a suspect.
Pressure is building, and people are pulling out every trick in the book, trying to get answers.
What does this mean for the St. James family? How can they charm their way out of this one?
Will someone finally pay, or will more women go missing?
